“The Second Story” is our youth room.
As you would imagine, it is the second floor of Palos Bible Church (12701 S 70th Ave. Palos Heights, IL, 60463). Thus the name.
It also represents the lives of those students in our group whose lives have been changed, through Jesus Christ, so that they are now living a “Second Story”. Their first “story” was living a life out of self and sin for themselves, but their “Second Story” is living a life out of the gospel for God’s glory and praise.

It has been an amazing opportunity to see our youth room transform over the past few months. We have removed some very old couches, painted, rearranged, received the new furniture, purchased a TV…. and here is the finished product!!
The Lord graciously provided all the furniture as a donation and the congregation chipped in for the TV. Words just cannot describe how grateful we are for everyone’s help.
We only have a little bit left to do with the room before it is fully complete but with the room in it’s current “amazingness” we are having no problem being patient and waiting on the Lord for provision.
