The book of Ephesians is a great study for the role of the church, how God has equipped the church, and how the church is supposed to behave.

In this study we will look at life long principles having to do with Salvation, Hope, Eternal Inheritance, Sin, Grace, Unity and how to apply them to life.

We hope and pray that it will be a great Gospel filled time of learning, sharing and change.

The following is pretty self-explanatory… We would love to see students come, hang out and study hard for their finals!

Ugly Christmas Sweaters have officially made their comeback!! Thankfully not in a serious way. We will be celebrating this comeback at our annual Youth Group Christmas party. Wear the ugliest one you can find and you will automatically be entered into the competition for the Ugliest Christmas Sweater.

Other activities include…  Food, White Elephant (these need to be funny/dumb gifts), Holiday Photo Booth.

Everything is free! Just come (wearing a ugly sweater) and bring a friend!

It has been an amazing opportunity to see our youth room transform over the past few months. We have removed some very old couches, painted, rearranged, received the new furniture, purchased a TV…. and here is the finished product!!

The Lord graciously provided all the furniture as a donation and the congregation chipped in for the TV. Words just cannot describe how grateful we are for everyone’s help.

We only have a little bit left to do with the room before it is fully complete but with the room in it’s current “amazingness” we are having no problem being patient and waiting on the Lord for provision.

Jesus was an amazing person!! We know from the bible that Jesus was both God and man. Wow! He was born to a virgin. As a young boy he amazed the religious leaders with his spiritual insight. As an adult he healed the sick, cast out demons, was a powerful teacher and a great storyteller. Many of us have from our very childhood have heard the stories about Jesus, but have we heard and understood the stories told BY Jesus?

For this next semester we will be looking at the parables of Jesus as found in the Gospel of Luke. It will be a great time of study and teaching, learning how to interpret these stories, and how to imply their biblical principles to today’s life. I hope that you will be able to join us.

Jr High (6^th-8^th) on Wed nights 7pm-8:30pm and Sr. High on Thurs 7pm -9pm upstairs in what is now being called “The Second Story”.

Hey Everyone,

My name is Ryan and I am so excited to be here at PBC to serve the Students and the Families of this local body as the Youth Pastor.

Peter told the church leaders in his letter to the the churches of the dispersion (1 Peter 5.1-4) to pastor the local church, watching over them, in a willing an humble manner; not out of greedy motivations or because they were on a power-trip, but with a willingness to serve. This is my heart. Ever since the moment of Jesus Salvation in my life I have had a growing desire to serve and minister to the local church.

Thank you Palos Bible for giving me that opportunity and thanks to the LORD for his grace in which stand.
